Honeybee Centre has offered fun, exciting and interactive presentations for over 20 years! We are a staple in the community and continue to grow and expand to offer new and fresh programming for all ages!
Honeybee Centre now offers educational and fun virtual presentations from our classroom or bee yard.
Our program aligns with the BC Curriculum and includes education about bees, beekeeping, pollination & environmental stewardship.
Objectives
- To bring the amazing world of the honeybees to the forefront of education through hands on activities and explorations.
- To showcase the relationship between humans and honeybees.
- To feature the honeybee as an integral species in our food web.
- To explore the honeybee and other pollinators as a keystone species in Earth’s ecosystem.

Virtual Hive Dive Presentation (60+ minutes)
Base Price for schools or groups (one classroom)
$150 +tax
Available April to August between 11am and 3pm PST
Approx. 30 minute presentation + 15 minute Hive Tour (looking inside a working hive) + 15 minutes Q&A

Topics Education on Four Main Topics
ALL ABOUT BEES, POLLINATION, EXTRACTION/BEEKEEPING, CIVIC DUTY
The best way to learn, is to have fun! In our virtual presentation, we playfully talk about our four main topics and learn lots of other interesting and fun things along the way. Cassie will make sure all of your bee & beekeeping questions are answered! The option to add honey tasting or candle rolling is available. You are welcome to send all your questions & wonders ahead of time if you’d like an even more customized program.
