This place (Honeybee Centre as you know it) was once just a dream—a spark—that transformed into an MBA project that just made sense. It became so much more than a school project; it had to be more. It was our little piece of how to save the world and we knew it could make a difference.
Now, Honeybee Centre is a commercial honey farm, country store, educational facility, CFIA registered packing facility, visitor attraction, and so much more than that original dream could have ever dreamt up. That’s the power of ideas; when backed by passion, momentum builds and they become a force of their own, changing the world in ways we could never have predicted.

Beekeeping Sustaining a better future for the world
Our bees are buuuussssyy (and loving it)! Our beekeeping operations are centred around the pollination of multiple fruit crops so we can produce a variety of sweet, specialty honeys for you to enjoy. We also work with blueberries, raspberries, and cranberries for local growers, and have even become the largest pollinators of
blueberries in Western Canada.
EDUCATIONWe place learning above all else.
The world of bees is absolutely fascinating and buzzing with activity, and we want to share it with you. We offer school field trips, group presentations, customized programs, birthday parties, and more! Have an idea? Let us know and our team can create an un-bee-table experience for you. You’ll also see our centre hosting education days with guest vendors, and even festivals! We’re here to help you learn and maybe spark an idea in you.
HONEY SHOP Goods that are sweeter than sunshine.
Our specialty honey products are fresh and natural, coming straight from our local hives! We sell flavoured honey, bee pollen, beeswax, infused honey spreads, pure beeswax candles, and nutritional supplements, along with several specialty items from trusted suppliers who share our commitment to only the highest quality goods.

Did you know you can rent our bees? Every year local farmers come to Honeybee Centre and we loan out colonies of busy bees to pollinate more than ten different fruit crops for the entire bloom cycle. Rental prices for a colony depend on the type of flower being pollinated, but are typically between $50 to $135. By using bees to pollinate fields, growers can expect up to 50% more fruit! That’s pretty amazing. *Our minimum installation is 24 colonies per field.
