Installation of Beehives

Our Host a Hive program begins with the installation of beehives on your commercial property.  Our experienced beekeepers will carefully set up and manage the beehives, ensuring that the environment is suitable for the health and well-being of our incredible honeybees.  The set up will be dependent on your preferences and the available space.

Educational Events for clients, Tenants and Visitors

We believe that learning about the vital role honeybees play in our ecosystem is an essential part of our mission.  With the Host a Hive program, we provide a unique opportunity for your clients, tenants and visitors to engage in educational events, workshops, and guided tours.  Our expert beekeepers will guide participants through the mesmerizing world of honeybees, offering an in-depth look into the intricacies of hive life, pollination and sustainable beekeeping practices.

Meeting the Bees and the Beekeeper

Get up close and personal with the bees themselves!  We offer immersive experiences where you and your guests can suit up in beekeeping attire and step into the hive for a safe, hands-on encounter with our buzzing friends.  Our beekeepers will be right by your side, providing insights, answering questions, and ensuring your safety as you witness the incredible world of the hive.

Branded products of the Hive

At the end of the season, your partnership with Honeybee Centre’s Host a Hive program pays off in more ways than one.  We offer the opportunity to share the bounty of your hosted hives with your clients and stakeholders.  You can choose from a variety of branded products of the hive, including:

Honey jars:

Nothing captures the essence of sustainability and local production better than delicious, locally harvested honey.  We can customize the labels on the honey jars to feature your brand, reinforcing your commitment to eco-conscious practices.

Lip Balm:

Our beeswax-based lip balm is a natural, soothing solution to chapped lips.  It can also feature your branding, making it a perfect giveaway or promotional item.

Beeswax Candles:

Illuminate your brand with our pure, handmade beeswax candles.  These candles not only emit a warm, natural glow, but also symbolize the sustainability of your business.  Did you know that Beeswax Candles release negative ions into the air purifying as they burn?

From beeswax bars to pollinator-friendly wildflower seed packets, our product offerings are versatile and tailored to your preferences.
