A Beekeepers Journey- An Evening of Art, Music, Story-Telling & Discovery

Join us on January 20, 2017 for a Bee-Centric evening of art, music, storytelling and discovery at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Guest speakers include; Mark Winston, Renee Saklikar, Paul Van Westendorp, John Gibeau, Ali McAfee, Julia Common and Lindsay Dault, with music by The Straight Jackets and the Vancouver debut of "Parts Per Million" art installation.

Enjoy a truly unforgettable Fairmont experience by indulging in delicious appies, honey inspired cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. The room will be filled with the smooth tones of The Straight Jackets, a Vancouver based Jazz quartet. Followed by the presentation of "Parts Per Million" art installation. This unique audio visual sculpture will mesmerize you with the soundtrack of the hive, a positively magnetic experience. Following this our guest speakers will divulge their connection, their purpose, and their love for the bees and the difference they make in their lives. No story is the same, but each can connect us to our role within the greater hive we call society.
